Chase the Wild are a 6-piece indie rock band based in Bath/Bristol. They draw influences from Australian/New Zealand Indie bands such as Ocean Alley, Mako Road and Sticky Fingers, as well as UK/US Indie bands such as the Strokes,and Arctic Monkeys. sunny surfer vibes of Australian Indie and combine them with the slightly heavier UK Indie/alt rock scene, meeting in the middle between Australian and UK Indie music. Chase The Wild perform with infectious energy, which compliments Freddie’s fun, energetic, crowd engagements as a front man, all combining to create a brilliant show when they’re on stage. Forming in November 2023, they have picked up a lot of momentum in a short amount of time, playing at multiple venues such as Komedia, Thekla, and Solara Festival and recently supporting Pentire at Thekla on their 2nd Uk tour. After the success of their first two singles ‘Communication’ and “Slide Away’ successfully hitting over 20,000 streams, both played on radio stations such as BBC Introducing in the south west, BBC Radio Bristol and Amazing Radio, being part of baby steps magazine, the heat is on for there soon to be announced third single.
